Job Statuses, Explained
A job's status is its current state, and Vexor uses it to sort your whole board. Keeping statuses current is what makes the Jobs section actually useful.
The statuses
- Scheduled — the job is booked but work hasn't started. It's on the calendar, waiting.
- In Progress — your crew is actively working it.
- Completed — the work is done. The job moves out of your active lists but keeps its full history.
Update a status by opening the job and changing it. It takes a second, and it keeps the rest of Vexor accurate.
Overdue and other filters
The Jobs section also groups jobs by situation, not just status.
- Overdue — a scheduled job whose date has passed without work starting.
- Need Invoice — finished work that hasn't been billed yet.
- Crew On Site — jobs with crew currently clocked in.
These aren't statuses you set — Vexor works them out for you. They exist to catch the things that need attention.
Why it matters
Reports, the home board counts, and the Need Invoice list all read job status. A job left "In Progress" after the work is done will quietly skew your numbers — so close jobs out when they're done.
