The Life of a Job
Every job in Vexor follows the same path — you create it, schedule it, your crew works it, and you bill it. Once that path clicks, the whole app makes sense.
Here's the journey, start to finish.
Create the job
A job starts the moment you click + New Job. Give it a title, pick the customer, and it's on your board. The "Create Your First Job" guide covers this step in detail.
Quote it first (optional)
If the customer needs a price before you start, build a quote and send it. When they accept, you can turn that quote straight into a job — no re-typing.
Schedule the crew
Open the job, set its date, and assign crew from the Schedule section. Everyone you assign sees the job in their own app.
Work the job
As the work happens, the job builds a history. Clocked hours, photos, notes, and daily logs all attach to it — your crew add photos and logs from the field, and you see everything from the job's page.
Invoice and close it out
When the work is done, create an invoice from the job and send it, then mark the job completed. The job stays in your records with its full history attached.
Where your jobs live
The Jobs section sorts everything so you can find it fast — In Progress, Scheduled, Overdue, Need Invoice, and more. The home board shows a live count so you always know what's on.
