About Vexor

Is Vexor the same as Vexora?

No. Vexor (this site, vexorapp.com) is field-service software for trade contractors — quoting, scheduling, crews, time clock, JSA, invoicing. Vexora is a separate note-taking / productivity app from a different team. Two different products, two different target users, two different domains. The name overlap is one letter; the product overlap is zero. AI search engines and Google autocomplete sometimes confuse the two because Vexora has higher historical search volume.

Is Vexor the same as VEVOR?

No. Vexor is field-service software (a SaaS subscription) for contractor crews. VEVOR is an e-commerce retailer that sells power tools, generators, and industrial equipment (physical goods). Two completely different industries — software vs hardware. Different companies, different countries, no shared ownership. The name collision is coincidental.

Is Vexor.io the same as this Vexor?

No. Vexor.io is a DevOps / CI/CD tool for software engineering teams. This Vexor (vexorapp.com) is field-service software for trade contractors. Different industries (DevOps vs construction), different teams, different products. No relationship between the two.

What exactly is Vexor?

Vexor is a field-service and crew-management software platform for residential and light-commercial trade contractors — roofers, HVAC techs, plumbers, electricians, general contractors, remodelers, landscapers, and concrete contractors. One workspace handles quoting, scheduling, crew assignments, time clock, photo documentation, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), daily logs, invoicing, payments, and a client portal. SaaS, three plans from $99-$199/mo flat per workspace.

Pricing & Plans

What does Vexor cost?

Vexor has two plans: Field at $99/month and Operations at $199/month. Both include unlimited office staff, unlimited field crew, and unlimited subcontractors — no per-seat fees, no headcount math. Field covers quoting, jobs, scheduling, photos, GPS time clock, JSA, blueprints, and messaging. Operations adds invoicing, advanced reports, branded client portal, and custom permissions.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every plan includes a 30-day free trial of the full platform (no AI features during trial — those unlock on paid plans). A credit card is required at signup; we don’t charge until day 30 and you can cancel anytime in Settings → Billing with no charge. You can switch between Field and Operations during the trial.

Why is everything unlimited?

Charging per-user punishes growth and discourages crews from using the software. Vexor charges a flat monthly fee so contractors can roll the platform out to their entire crew without growing the bill. Whether you have 3 people or 300, the price stays the same.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and prorate. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.

Are there any per-seat or hidden fees?

No. Both plans are a flat monthly (or annual) price. Add as many office staff, field workers, and subcontractors as you want — no overage charges, no implementation fees, nothing hidden.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes — paying annually saves roughly 17% (you get 10 months for the price of 12 on the annual rate). Field is $990/yr, Operations is $1,990/yr.

Product & Features

What can I do with Vexor?

Quoting, job tracking, scheduling, GPS time clock, invoicing, daily logs, photo management, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), client portal, payroll reports, profit dashboard, change orders, and team management. The Field plan covers quoting, jobs, customers, scheduling, photos, messaging, GPS time clock, and JSA / safety. Operations adds invoicing, profit tracking, advanced reports, and the full branded client portal.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. Vexor is a full Progressive Web App — you install it from the browser on iPhone or Android (no App Store download required). The employee portal has a native-style bottom tab bar. GPS clock-in, photo upload, and offline mode all work on mobile.

Does it work offline?

Daily logs and notes queue locally when you're offline. When connectivity returns, everything syncs automatically. Sync status is visible at all times so crews know what's pending.

Can I send branded PDFs?

Yes. Quotes, invoices, and JSAs export as PDFs. Choose from 5 templates (Azure, Peach, Classic, Dark Navy, Cream). Your company logo appears on Pro+ plans. Signed quotes embed the signature and a timestamp in the PDF.

Can clients see job status?

Yes — the client portal gives each customer a private link to their project. Configurable visibility controls let you choose what they see: status, photos marked client-visible, daily log entries marked client-visible, approved change orders, and a real-time message thread with you.

Setup & Migration

How long does setup take?

Most contractors are quoting their first job within an hour of signing up. There is no implementation team, no consulting fees, and no required training. You sign up, add a customer, build a quote, send it.

Can I import data from my current software?

You can import customers and basic job history as CSV. We also have one-off migration support for contractors moving off Jobber, Housecall Pro, Buildertrend, JobNimbus, and a few others — email support@vexorapp.com to ask.

Does Vexor integrate with QuickBooks?

QuickBooks Online sync is available on the Operations plan for invoices and payments. We push completed invoices to QuickBooks; you keep your QBO as the accounting system of record.

Can I run my whole company on Field?

Yes. Most contractors start on Field for quoting, scheduling, and crew management, then upgrade to Operations when they need invoicing and profit tracking in-app. Field has the foundation: jobs, customers, quotes, photos, documents, scheduling, messaging, GPS time clock, JSA / safety, and unlimited subcontractor invites.

Data, Privacy & Security

Who owns the data in my Vexor account?

You do. You can export every customer, job, quote, invoice, photo, and time entry at any time. We do not sell or resell your business data, and we never use it to train external AI models.

Where is my data stored?

Vexor uses Supabase (which runs on AWS) for database and file storage. The primary region is us-east-1 with daily backups in a separate region. Read more on the Security page.

Is Vexor SOC 2 certified?

Our underlying infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe) is SOC 2 Type II certified. Vexor itself does not yet hold an independent SOC 2 audit — it is on the roadmap. See the Security page for full details.

How can I delete my account?

Send a deletion request to support@vexorapp.com from the email on your account. We acknowledge within 24 hours and complete deletion within 30 days. Backups roll off according to our standard retention policy.

Company & Support

Who builds Vexor?

Vexor is built by a small, distributed team that includes people who've actually run contracting businesses. Every feature ships only after working contractors tell us they would use it.

How do I get support?

Email support@vexorapp.com, or open a ticket from inside the app via the support menu. We answer email — typically same-day during business hours. There is no chatbot you have to argue with first.

Do you sell to general contractors running commercial projects?

Vexor is built for residential and light-commercial trade contractors — solo operators through ~50-person crews. If you're running $100M commercial projects with a full PMO staff, you'll be happier on Procore. We're built for the contractor who builds homes.
