Answer

Does Vexor replace CompanyCam?

Yes for the core contractor-photo workflow. Vexor includes job-scoped photo management with EXIF metadata, GPS coordinates, crew attribution, phase tagging (Before / After / Progress / Issue / Material / Inspection), client-visibility toggle, and a public project gallery on every plan. The difference: photos in Vexor live INSIDE the job alongside the JSA, time entries, and invoice — not in a separate database that has to sync.

CompanyCam costs $19-31/user/month and is a standalone photo app. For a 10-person crew, that's $240-310/month — for photos. Vexor includes the same photo functionality bundled with the rest of the contractor workflow at $99-199/month flat per workspace.

If you only need a focused camera app outside a workspace (no quoting, no scheduling, no invoicing), CompanyCam is the more focused tool. For contractors who want one app for the full job, Vexor is the consolidation answer.

Migrating from CompanyCam takes ~2 hours — see /migrate/companycam for the step-by-step.
