Answer
How does Vexor sync with QuickBooks?
Vexor syncs with QuickBooks Online (not Desktop) on the Operations plan ($199/mo). Invoices created in Vexor push to QuickBooks; customer payments recorded in QuickBooks flow back to Vexor as paid. The connection is one-time per workspace via Intuit's OAuth flow. Sync runs in near-real-time (typically under 60 seconds per direction). Customer records map 1:1, invoice line items preserve formatting, and payment dates round-trip cleanly.
On first connection, Vexor offers an initial customer-mapping step to align existing QuickBooks customers with Vexor customers — useful if you have customer records in both systems before connecting. Going forward, new customers created in Vexor auto-push to QuickBooks.
Vexor does NOT currently sync time entries, payroll, or expenses to QuickBooks. Those workflows are on the integration roadmap. For now, export Vexor's payroll CSV and import it to QuickBooks payroll manually (~15 minutes per pay period).
QuickBooks Desktop is not supported. Most contractors migrating to Vexor also migrate from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online during the transition.
