As-Built Drawings

Drawings updated during construction to show what was actually built (versus what was designed).

During construction, the original design drawings are marked up to reflect changes — relocated outlets, redirected ducts, substituted materials. At project end, the as-builts are delivered to the owner as the true record of the building. As-builts are critical for future renovations, maintenance, and warranty work. Subcontractors are typically responsible for maintaining as-builts for their scope. Often delivered as PDF markups.
